Hello! I’m Rachel Spring. Small town girl turned UX/UI designer. I love art, design, my cat (Maggie!), traveling whenever possible, music, memes, binging shows, and so much more. My passion for design started when I picked up photography as a teenager. Before I knew it, I was on the yearbook and the school paper as a designer. I was even self-taught in Adobe from the start. Despite my love for art and design running deep in my bones, I fell for the practicality trap after high school. I almost went down the healthcare route to become an Occupational Therapist. My heart just wasn’t in it though. I wasn’t happy.

I transferred to GVSU and into their art program, taking a huge risk after sinking so much time into a completely different path. It was the best risk I've ever taken though! Graphic Design was my gateway into User Experience, since (at the time) there wasn’t any degree for UX. 

For the past 3 years I've been working as a UX/UI designer at a local agency where I've had the pleasure of working directly with stakeholders on both large and small scale products end-to-end. I'm excited to see what the future has in store!
