Stellantis Vehicle Delivery
Native App
Overview + Goals
The iShowroom Vehicle Delivery App is a new B2B2C platform that modernizes how Stellantis Sales Consultants manage vehicle deliveries and how customers experience them. Sales Consultants work from a robust dashboard to search vehicles, track deliveries, review session summaries, and send vehicle information directly to buyers. Customers receive a personalized, mobile-friendly Vehicle Site where they can explore their vehicle's features through a custom AI vehicle assistant, and complete key action items ahead of delivery.
This was a complete overhaul of a legacy platform, rebuilt from the ground up with a new visual direction, clearer information hierarchy, and a significantly improved end-to-end flow. The system was designed to work across Stellantis's major brands including Jeep, Dodge, RAM, Chrysler, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo.
Process + The Struggles
The biggest design challenge early on was modernizing the platform without alienating Sales Consultants who were deeply familiar with how the old one worked. Every decision came down to the same question: is this change serving the user, or just serving the design? In a highly collaborative process, the team and I mapped out existing workflows first with the stakeholders, preserved what was worth keeping, and was deliberate about where and why we deviated from legacy patterns.
Scope also shifted constantly throughout the process — new delivery phases, new features they needed to have, screens that needing to be redesigned after approval.
Rather than fighting it, I learned to design with open edges, building a tight enough system that adding something new didn't break what already existed. Keeping the customer-facing site visually consistent with the Sales Consultant's while stripping back the complexity reduced the friction between the two views, as the customer would be interacting with the Sale's Consultant's platform in the dealership.
Every section, screen, and function was hammered out with great detail.
Outcomes + My thoughts
The NVD App launched in January 2025 across Stellantis's brand family. The reception from the client team, internal stakeholders, and Sales Consultants exceeded expectations.
After onboarding, Sales Consultants described the new platform as a significant improvement over the previous system — cleaner, easier to use, and better organized. The initial friction during the teaching sessions was expected given the scale of the change from the legacy platform, and it resolved quickly once Consultants were familiar with the new flow. In addition, the visual direction was approved by the client and received strong positive feedback from both the internal Stellantis team and people across the wider organization. The cohesive design system landed well across all six brands without requiring significant brand-specific deviation.
Since launching in January 2025, the NVD App has continued to grow. With the addition of a new multi-VIN delivery pathway, an AI Vehicle Assistant chat, and general enhancements.
